Greetings everyone! I have a severe issue about algebra and I was wondering if someone might be able to help me out a little . I have a math test in a few weeks and even though I have been studying math seriously, there are still a a couple of items that cause a lot of headache , such as how to convert a mix fraction to a fraction and scientific notation especially. Last week I had a session with a private tutor , but many things still remain unclear to me. Can you suggest a good method of studying or a good tutor that you know already? |

Will you please indicate what is the kind of problem you are caught with in how to convert a mix fraction to a fraction? Some more information on this could assist to identify ways of resolving them.
