COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:
This course includes the following topics: properties of
numbers , fundamental operations with algebraic
expressions; polynomials; systems of equations ; ratio
and proportion; factoring; functions; graphs; solutions of
linear inequalities ; and linear and quadratic equations.
METHOD OF INSTRUCTION:
This course will be taught via the internet. The concepts
will be instructor led by students reading, watching, and/
or exploring using an internet-based math tutorial and a
textbook.

V. Apply properties of rational exponents and radicals
1. Apply rules of rational exponents to evaluate expressions.

VI. Solve quadratic equations.
1. Solve quadratic equations by factoring.

5. Classify the graphs of a parabola and calculate maximum or minimum.
